About Mrs. Versaw
It was not until I graduated from college and held my first job working with young children with developmental delays that I could see my true calling to become a teacher. I learned through my work experience how important and influential the early years of life are for children. I worked full-time with the Early Steps program in Baton Rouge for 1 ½ years. During this time a light bulb went off and my passion to teach was fueled. I decided to return to school in the Fall of 2009 and work towards certification in the field of early childhood education – PreK through 3rd grade.
I can not think of anything I would rather do than spend my days nurturing and molding young minds so that they will have the foundation needed to be successful in the years ahead. I love to create an atmosphere conducive to learning where every student looks forward to school and develops a love for education.
